About the Psychosocial Thinking Blog

This blog was born in the aftermath of the 2016 EU Referendum result by academics and early-career researchers in the field of Psychosocial Studies, at Birkbeck University of London.

The vote to leave the European Union has led to uncertainty, insecurity and anxiety about the period that lies ahead. We have decided, therefore, to open up a space to offer our reflections on the current moment. We share similar political values and are able to sustain our political disagreements. But above all, we share a psychosocial perspective in interpreting and analysing the social, political and historical dynamics of these changing times.
